About Us  GreyHounds

Purple Sage Embroidery was started by Rick and Sue Anderson in April of 2002. In February 2003, we bought an existing trophy and award business and our name became Purple Sage Embroidery & Awards. Since that time we have added several other services such as

  • self-inking rubber stamps,
  • rhinestone wearables,
  • laminated buttons, and
  • sublimation.

We belong to several organizations that are non profit such as

  • The Prescott Regulators and Their Shady Ladies,
  • Elks and Lions, and belong to the
  • Prescott Chamber,
  • Prescott Valley Chamber,
  • Arizona Highway 69 Chamber and
  • Chino Valley Chamber.

Rick is a councilman for the Town of Prescott Valley and a member of the Early Bird Lions. Rick is also a member of Vietnam Veterans of America and is on the board of directors of the local chapter. He also is the treasurer for local chapter Disabled American Veterans. We are very involved with Arizona Adopt a Greyhound and have rescued four greyhounds and currently have two of our own.

Rick operates the machines and Sue runs the office as well as being the one to ask about color and uses her design expertise in all phases of the business. We do all of our own work right here in our little shop as we want to be sure to deliver on time (never late) and have the best quality possible.
